The mechanical sorter type SM is designed to orientation of caps and then to deliver them to closing machine using skid ramp and feeder. Depending on type of used sorting disk, the equipment can serve both to plastic and metal caps, diameter of which is greater than their height.
The mechanical sorter consists of charging hopper, drive mechanism driving sorting disk, and upper skid ramp. Disk used in the mechanical sorter has adequate profiled recessions, by which only correctly oriented caps are passing through. Correctly oriented caps are picked by skid ramp and go to the closing machine through feeder and receiving plate.
